They are fun super fast flowing downhill descents. Nothing extraordinary, but pretty fun. Amazing network of trails with some of the best riding you will ever do. The switchbacks in and out of the canyons get the legs to burning but are short and manageable. You can start this trail any time of day.
Stay right at the first two intersections, then left at a cabled gate. In and out of canyons and meadows with Scrub Oak, Juniper and Pine on great single track. There are a lot of random, poorly-marked trails meandering through the scrub brush around here, but the true gems--like Raider Ridge and Snake Charmer--are well-worth feeling lost when you finally find them. Each intersection has "You Are Here" maps so you always know where you are. There is a sign at the turnoff from the highway onto a frontage road. Another absolutely fabulous technical trail in the Telegraph Trail System. Great trails. You must have JavaScript enabled to fill out this form. Continue around and down on the South Rim trail until intersection 7 and turn right onto the Big Canyon trail. Best Bike Trails | I'll allow I haven't ridden but a handful of places around the States, and especially haven't spent enough time in Colorado: but the fact that I can ride two miles from my hotel and be on this epic network blows my mind. Anasazi Desent is a double black diamond desecent with big drops, lots of rocks and sharp turns. Telegraph is one of the most popular routes in the Horse Gulch Trail System. The Telegraph Trail System is a fantastic riding area located virtually in town! Password help. Breeze along the Sidewinder trail and turn left at intersection 5 and again left at intersection 6 onto the South Rim trail. This trail is relatively non technical, but does feature some big climbs… at least, for this trail network.
