This was an off-the-cuff concoction that Hubby liked so much I reconstructed the recipe. Oh my, head to a Korean restaurant if you can! I added some radish, tossed in some tofu and pickles (no raw cucumber in the fridge), it's definitely going in the dinner rotation! Stir in the hemp seeds. Bibimbap sauce . I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life and live a happy life. That’s great colby!! However I never ordered Bibimbap or ate it until tonight at a restaurant. Korean Bibimbap is THE mother of all bowls. You're fantastic and I am ever so grateful to you for sharing your passion with others. Yours looks and sounds more flavoursome. Or stick with white?

Please Note: It is best to prepare the pickled daikon radish the day before. YAY~!! LOOKS DELICIOUS! Maybe one could add some deep fried tofu or so to make the energy content a bit higher. I’ve enjoyed cooking it at home and dining out too. I always go to Seongbukdong here in LA coz they have the best Galbi Jjim and I’m looking for a recipe similar to that.

My delicious bibimbap sauce only takes a minute to make by simply mixing together gochujang, sesame oil, water and sugar. I LOVE Asian food - and yes, from every country and little province - but I've pathetically never had Bibimbap! Roast until fork-tender, 15 to 20 minutes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! The main ingredient for the sauce is gochujang, Korean fermented red pepper paste, a staple in Korean cooking.

Made bibimbap today it was so good but my sauce I put too much onion had strong onion breath lol . Yours looks prettier though. To serve, place a mound of warm cooked rice in the middle of a plate and arrange prepared Mushrooms, Carrot, Bean Sprouts, Spinach, Cucumber and Gochujang chilli sauce.
