I may be a little biased because I have a VLX myself but yes, if you don’t have a VLX, you will be happy with the Fighting Edge. The replacement acrylic panel should manage the pressure without cracking, but take care not to jam the button in too hard when replacing it. If HORI didn’t do it, someone else eventually will.
