I'll just give a 5 because of the respect I have to AC saga, but this remaster sucks. Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered does a good job bringing an older game into the modern era, all things considered, but it can be hard to go back to. Even a high-quality remaster such as this can’t hide the fact that Assassin’s Creed III is too much a product of its time and has little to offer modern gaming. Even gameplay was overhauled in very minor, but useful ways, most importantly the horrendous weapon select from the old base game was overhauled and there is a bunch of other stuff as well. It still was not good when I am climbing stuff as I would try to get Connor to move one direction but he would just move the opposite way. Never got to finish this game on my ps3, so I was glad to see it remastered for ps4. But, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is a welcome glimpse into an era that would define much in the years to come. I was a freshman in high school, had just completed AC: Revelations, and was really enjoying learning more about the American Revolution in school. If you like epic games this a must buy.
