I will make note of the salt in the recipe. I don't usually freeze food so I can't say for sure.

I don't have much experience with an air fryer but I know others have asked about using it in this recipe. In a sperate bowl, add the buttermilk. Can I use an Air fryer to do this awesome crispychicken? We be making this again and again, hubby loved it and said it was restaurant quality.

Ahhh... saw this on Pinterest, looks really good!! So sorry! It comes out perfect every time, although I adjust the ratio of honey to soy a bit each time.

You could always try it and experiment but my best guess is that it probably won't work cause the coating on the chicken is too wet/soggy for the air fryer. Because let's be real, it's a lot of work to stand there, dredge the chicken, fry it up, and then remove it all and then do all that for 3 more batches while the kids are screaming from their hunger pains. It was way too easy to burn the sauce! This is incredible!

Sesame oil can be a strong flavor so just adjust accordingly. I would guess that no it does not freeze well because of that crispy coating.

This was absolutely lovely!! Each batch should only take about 5-7 minutes and the crust should be a pale, golden brown color.

Although I am not fond of sweet savoury dishes, the sauce was divine.

Only thing i changed was i used half flour and half corn starch. I hope that helps. Sounds so yummy An did looking for short cuts for the school year and getting home late after a full day of teaching. This delicious Crispy Honey Chicken recipe from togetherasfamily.com is one of those cravings that you just need to satisfy. Turn on the exhaust fan above the stove when making this to keep the "fried food" smell at bay. ☺️. It's always worth a try though to see. :) It was a fun recipe to make and pretty delicious, but I would up the spices and add salt and pepper.

I also deep fried the chicken,, and you are right, the crust is so crisp and crunchy, it was divine too. Maybe I added too much honey? In a saucepan over medium heat, add the honey, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, red pepper flakes (if using) and vinegar. All I can really say about this crispy honey chicken is that You. Mix Argo® Cornstarch, all purpose flour, paprika, dried parsley and salt and shake to combine.
