We booked an ocean front luxury cabin and when I asked if it was beach front, was told "yes". All accommodation offers a patio or balcony and cooking facilities. Plenty of bedrooms. We booked this place for our last night as it's less than an hour from the drop off. We didn't have the kids with us but it would have been great for kids - large swimming pool, good playground, beach swimming, good facilities and lovely staff. You have to drive to the beach. The toilet paper is the cheap stuff. This vacation spot is ideally suited for leisurely holidaying and is a popular base for large groups. It’s an easy and flat walk to the Main Street of Byron (about 1km). There are several cabins as well as camp sites for tents and motor homes. Enjoy peaceful walks along Clarkes Beach. There are more places to choose from in the Byron Bay area. A hidden gem only 40 minutes from Auckland CBD and airport. However it’s not enough for us to be returning back, Overall I think overpriced for what it was, Location - well you cant access the beach as it has all eroded.
