No. One Improvement needed (and I shared this with the guys in the Pro Shop after my round): They need better signs. Nice amenities too; it really has a private club feel with a great clubhouse.
Our Stately 15,000 square foot Clubhouse is complete with our beautifully renovated restaurant and full stocked golf shop. The Range is elevated which I don't really like but it actually made sense once you got on the course.

I would definitely play this course again. The real issue that I saw is that the front side is gimmicky, blind shots, trees that get in the way. They all play across a dramatic landscape of undulating meadows and hardwood forests. They have had a lot of rain recently. Not sure if it's just a lack of rain or a lack of watering but the course needs water badly. Under threatening skies, my friend and I played The Pines/Grande View combination at Tega Cay. I was surprised how nice the greens were given the wet weather. Tega Cay is Polynesian for “Beautiful Peninsula”. I bet that this course is just beautiful in late April/May into the summer. Course was great. Slowed up play and took a little longer than normal, the pace of players kept moving and waiting time was nominal (twice for us). Both are public courses which offer you the option of playing The Cove if you just want to play 9 holes. The course is well maintained and greens played great. Conditions of the course were great from tee to green. I found out after nine holes on the Cove that I was suppose to have played on the other course.
when we were returning the golf cart the man looked at us and very rudely said who did you get permission from to get this cart, and we explained just golf and he was very rude. I am a member of TCGC, but when I lived in Charlotte I would happily drive the 25 minutes or so to play this amazing course, it has some amazing views and some very challenging holes. First of all this place overall is in rough shape right now.

On The Cover, there are three Par 3's, four Par 4's and 2 Par 5's.Both offer a beautifully landscape layout along Lake Wylie as it meanders through the homes in Tega Cay.They offer discounts green fee's for Seniors and Juniors and you have the option to either walk the course or rent a cart.There is also a snack bar called 'At the Turn'if you want to grab a drink or a hot dog or sandwich.There is also a nice restaurant called the Shore Club on site that offers a full menu if you want dinner. The bunkering is modest but strategically placed and there are water hazards coming into play as well. What really stood out for us was the excellent greens. Bunkers were well maintained and full of soft, white sand. But many people overlook the pitching area that lurks next to hole one of The Cove. Played the Carolina Pines and Grandview nines of Tega Cay Golf Club today.
