While it's, admittedly, hard to go into any depth when you only have six weeks to cover the entire Bible, the author does an excellent job of highlighting important people and events and how they relate to future books. It's important to understand the Bible as one complete story. It's a great jumping off point for understanding what it means to be a Christian and how to move further in your individual studies of the Bible. I definitely learned a lot during this study and it makes me excited to try another reread through the Bible. This Bible study gets 5 stars from me, but if I were reviewing the formatting of the book, I’d give it a 2. Doesn't make it a bad read. It was the first one in a long time that I really liked. I know there is still a lot to learn, but I feel like I at least have a grasp on it now!! I am always nodding and looking around but thinking, nope dont know em.
