Good staff. This coffee leaves a bad bitter aftertaste, , doesn't smell fresh in the bag..it just smells old, and doesnt fill the room with a nice coffee smell like other coffee's do. The coffee is wonderful!!! Then you have all the mom and pop coffees, then there's this place. I always order plain, black coffee. The flavor of this coffee is to die for. After roaming through the city on foot, approx. Great service. I was there at 10:40a and the baristo said that he not only would not get to my order for another 15-20 minutes, but that the order wouldn't be done for another 15-20 after that, because there were only 2 of them working (?!). They had an interesting menu of coffee offerings, particularly under their 'Slow Bar', which I'd never heard of or seen in NYC (at least, not yet). What I really like is the aroma that fills my house unlike any other brand I have ever tried. Nice atmosphere and just off the Pike Market (I think it was the southern end) Much more room to sit and gab...than the shops on the Pike main market street.
