In all seriousness, as someone who obsesses over cooking shows and cooks religiously, I gave a few of her recipes a shot. She just isn't as personable as some of the other hosts/chefs on the network. I can’t say the same for other Food Network people. Sounds like she’d rather feed by the inch rather than the ounce. It reminds me of the “cool girl” speech from Gone Girl. She was so obnoxious – talking over Ina Garten and pretty much everyone.
And aparently when they saw the tv it was all cleavage leaning over a dish, but all they saw was cleavage and moans. she was sweet and humble. I have my favorite people, like Ina Garten and Tyler Florence. and while I don’t love everything, the vast majority of her recipes are really good and can be put together quickly after work, etc. Giada become a part of rumors when she divorced her husband Todd Thompson.

Most of my life I’ve been slender, and when I haven’t been several times, it’s because I was eating A LOT and drinking lots of soda, junk food, and I packed on the pounds and it distributed in my hips and thighs and I was miserable, truthfully. And I guess I can’t blame her for her standard answer of “I eat a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything. omg I can’t believe you guys just went there. and Italian and eat a bit of everything. BUT I’ve watched a lot of Food Network over the years, and you can tell when people enjoy the food they’re eating, and frequently you’ll see the chef take more than one bite, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen Giada do.
I tried one of her recipes and it was really bland. And Gail Simmons told Eatocracy she eats a vegetable soup several nights out of the week for supper. I'm not going to eat cookie after cookie or cake after cake to know if I've nailed it.

I was trying to figure out a way of saying it but you did it perfectly. The fact that we rarely see Giada eat on the show may suggest that women should prepare food for their family, but not necessarily eat it, which raises many of its own questions.
She’s a shameless famewhore, her recipes are pretty dull, she takes every opportunity to flash her cleavage and s*x it up during a supposedly wholesome show, has a pretty well-known reputation as a serial philanderer with a sad wimp of a husband, and is generally a bit of a nasty piece of work according to people who have worked on her show. Giada de Laurentiis is a well-known celebrity chef and has been for many years, which is why fans are so invested in her personal life. I read the reviews for her recipes and other people also complained about how bland her food is.
And, yes, I am going to hell.
